There’s an app for literally everything these days, including apps for blogging! With so many apps out there, some are totally not worth downloading. But there are a few that really help make blogging so much easier! Here are 6 of the best apps for bloggers!

The Best Apps For Bloggers | 5 Must-Have Blogging Apps

Canva
Canva is an app used for creating designs, logos, graphics, and so much more. It’s a favorite among bloggers and graphic designers due to it’s ease of use and ready-made templates.
You can use the Canva app to create pins for Pinterest, logos for your brand, and cool graphics for your blog or Instagram, which is why it’s at the top of the list of must-have apps for bloggers. It’s uses are endless!
The coolest part about Canva is that it automatically saves your designs! So, for example, if you’re using it to create pins, you already have a template that just needs a little editing. This can help speed up graphic design creation and give you more time to tackle the rest of your blogging tasks!
The app is available for both iPhone and Android, or you can use their website on your laptop or computer. The app is free to download, you just need to create an account. You can also upgrade to Canva Pro for $9.95/mo annually or $12.95/mo when paid monthly. I really recommend using Canva Pro because you get access to so many beautiful stock photos and hundreds of fonts that are sure to fit your brand!
Adobe Lightroom
Adobe Lightroom is a free app that makes photo-editing super simple. What makes this app one of the best is it’s ability to save presets. Just in case you don’t know, a preset is a specific configuration of edits done to a photo, like adjusting tone, saturation, grain, etc. What makes a preset so cool is that it allows you to obtain that configuration with just a click, so you can quickly edit photos.
Presets are really great because they make all of your photos work well together, which can help with branding. (If you’re ever scrolling through Instagram and come across a feed that flows beautifully, chances are that person is using a preset on their photos!).
You can create your own presets right in the Lightroom app using their editing tools or you can purchase presets to add to Lightroom.
Adobe Lightroom is available for both iPhone and Android and if you’re looking for more editing features and tools, you can upgrade to their Premium plan for $4.99/mo.
Hootsuite
An issue for many bloggers is having to constantly be present on social media. Everyone knows that the more often you’re posting and engaging with your followers, the more you’ll gain. But let’s be real, you can’t always be on social media, you have a life too!
Enter, Hootsuite, a social media scheduling app that allows you to schedule content months in advance! Hootsuite is free to use for up to three social media profiles. (They also have a pro version, that allows you to schedule content for up to 10 profiles for $229.99/yr, which is great if you’re a social media manager running multiple accounts!)
Hootsuite is ideal for scheduling tweets on Twitter, since Twitter doesn’t have it’s own scheduling feature. You can schedule blog post promotions months in advance, which can help drive continuous traffic to your site!
My favorite way to use Hootsuite is scheduling blog post promotions on Twitter for an entire month and scheduling new posts in after they go live. It’s a total time saver and gets my content out there for others to see!
Social Media Apps
This one is kind of a given, but having your social media apps, (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and even Pinterest), on your phone really helps make connecting with your readers and followers easier and more convenient.
While some people prefer to use social media on their computer, it’s still a good idea to have the mobile apps as well, that way when you’re out, or you don’t have access to a computer, you can still stay connected to your followers!
WordPress App
Did you know WordPress has an app? If you’re using WordPress or you have a self-hosted WordPress blog, you can use their mobile app too! While the app isn’t exactly ideal for writing posts, unless you’re in a pinch, it can come in handy if you need to quickly edit something or you want to check your stats. You can also respond to comments via the app too, which makes keeping up with your readers that much easier!
P.S. If you’re looking to go self-hosted with your blog, I highly recommend Siteground! It’s super easy to use and their support team is the best! You can read more about why I recommend Siteground in the 7 Things You Need To Start A Money Making Blog post!
With so many blogging apps out there, which ones do you think are the best?

I just recently discovered Canva and it is a completely game changer. So worth it. I was doing everything slowly in Photoshop and it was taking me forever.
Yes! Canva really makes graphic design so quick and easy!
Love love love canva! I haven’t tried Adobe Lightroom, but I’m gonna check it out!

Canva is the best!! Lightroom is great for a good aesthetic and branding! (:
I started out on Hootsuite, using it religiously. Recently, however, I’ve found that I’m having some issues with it for some platforms. In particular, I find that it’s messing up my Instagram formatting while Later isn’t. I’m still using Hootsuite for a lot of things, but I’ve shifted my IG scheduling to Later largely for that reason (and because I love the preview option to plan things out).
I actually haven’t used it for Instagram, so I’m not really sure! But I love it for Twitter scheduling! (:
I’ve heard of HootSuite but haven’t used it yet. I definitely will try it out now though. Thanks for the tips!
