These days it seems like we’re all super busy! And leading a busy life can make getting things done really hard sometimes. If productivity or motivation is an issue for you and your busy lifestyle, here are 10 productivity tips that will help you get it all done!

10 Productivity Tips For Super Busy People
Set Goals
Setting goals for yourself and your blog is one of the best ways to get ahead! Goal setting is proven to boost motivation, which is why it’s number one on this list of productivity tips! When you set yourself goals and break them down, you’re able to see clearly what steps you need to take to achieve them.
When figuring out what your goals are, it’s best to write them down. Writing your goals down helps you actually remember them, keeps you organized, and helps put what you want to accomplish into perspective.
You also want to break your goals down into smaller daily tasks. When you break goals down, you’ll find that it’s easier to take them on and achieve them. Instead of being discouraged by one giant, (and seemingly scary and unachievable), goal, you’ll have quick and easy to manage tasks.

Plan
Planning is a major key to being, and staying, productive. Similar to goal setting, when you write out your plans for the day, you’re able to see what needs to get done clearly. Plus, no more forgetting deadlines or important tasks!
You can plan your days, weeks, or months in advance. You can choose to use a physical planner or a digital one, or a random piece of paper every day. There are so many planning resources out there to choose from. Find what works best for you!
You also can decide what to plan out. Some people find it easier to have every detail of every day planned out. Others only keep track of the important stuff. Once again, find what planning technique works best for you!

Time Blocks
A super easy way to get work done fast and boost productivity is to set up time blocks.
Working in time blocks is when you set aside certain times to get work done. So you can set an alarm for an hour, and get as much work done possible within that hour. Then you would take a break and then continue working again for a set amount of time. Time blocks are great for managing your time as well!
Another option is to set aside specific hours of the day that you’ll spend working on things. Like between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm you’ll work on your blog, and the rest of the day is yours to spend however you’d like. Kind of like your own personal work schedule!
Batch Work
Many people think multi-tasking helps you get things done, but it’s actually the opposite. Enter: batching. Batching work is when you do all of a specific task before moving on to the next one. And it’s another awesome hack to boost productivity.
With batching, instead of writing and editing as you go, you’d write all of your posts and then go back and edit all of them later. Instead of taking and editing photos one at a time, you’d shoot a bunch of photos and then edit them all later.
Batching your work helps you get things done faster. This is because you’re only focusing on one task at a time. Instead of your brain having to switch between the actions of different tasks, (like with multi-tasking), it can speed through one and run slightly on autopilot!
Batching your work is one of the best productivity tips out there because it can also help free up your time! Since you’re getting all of a specific task done at once, you’ll soon find you’re weeks ahead of your schedule, which is always a good feeling!
Have a Routine
Having a routine to follow makes doing virtually anything easier! We actually function better with routines because we know what to expect. Instead of having to stop and think about which task to take on next, our brains automatically move onto the next thing when we have a good routine!
The best thing to do is find a routine that works for you and your needs. To do this take a look at your daily schedule and planned events. Then look over the things you need and want to get done and work those around already scheduled plans.
It might take a little while to fully get into a routine, but once you’re used to it, you’ll see how much more productive you can be!

Healthy Habits
Did you know, that when you live a healthier lifestyle it’s actually easier to be productive? Getting enough sleep, eating nutritious foods, and staying active can all boost productivity levels!
When you live a healthier lifestyle, your body and mind will feel better overall and you’ll have tons of extra energy too. And all that extra energy can totally help you accomplish your goals.

Do Not Disturb
This is one of the absolute best productivity tips out there! Seriously, use the “do not disturb” feature on your phone. It’s so easy to get distracted by a text or a post on social media when you’re working on something. You get a notification and soon you’re spending the next hour scrolling through social media, (we’ve all been there).
When you use the “do not disturb” feature on your phone, you won’t receive any notifications, which might help you avoid getting distracted while you’re in the middle of something.
If the “do not disturb” feature doesn’t stop you from getting distracted, try putting your phone in another room while you get work done. When you’re done with your work, feel free to scroll for hours!
Minimize distractions
It’s also a good idea to minimize all distractions while trying to accomplish tasks. If the T.V. distracts you, turn it off. When you’re in a room with other people and you keep getting sidetracked, move to a quieter space to get your work done.
A messy space can also be extremely distracting. Before getting to work, clean up your workspace. Remove clutter and organize your things so your brain isn’t preoccupied by some big mess in front of you.
Tackle the hardest tasks first
Another helpful productivity tip is to take on your hardest, or most boring, task first. You know, that task you dread and avoid and procrastinate doing? Yeah, that one.
When you avoid a specific task, you’re not doing yourself any favors. In fact, just avoiding that task could be enough to distract you from getting any kind of work done.
Try getting the hardest tasks out of the way first. Once you complete the hard stuff, everything else will seem super easy by comparison!
Take Breaks
One of the biggest things that actually prevents productivity is working until you’re burnt out, so take a break every once in a while.
Yes, you should work hard and hustle if you want something, but breaks are important and essential.
You can and will get it all done, but not all at once. Take breaks, be patient, and remember to take care of yourself.
